Dream On 3 Day Dream Participants

Charlotte, NC (July 24, 2019) – On July 17 and 18, in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference) kicked off the 2019 football season by hosting its annual two-day media extravaganza. Each team’s head coach, as well as one offensive player and one defensive player, were in attendance. The Atlantic Division teams were represented on Wednesday, while the Coastal Division teams were represented on Thursday.

The ACC rolled out the red carpet for seven of Dream On 3’s special Day Dream participants, all of whom are patients of Levine Children’s Hospital Pediatric, Hematology, & BMT Program.

The following attended the Atlantic Division Media Day:

  • Noah Roach (fan of Florida State)
  • Kentrell Johnson (fan of Clemson)
  • Jadari Tate (fan of Clemson)
  • Logan Merrill (fan of Clemson)
  • Darren Davis (fan of Clemson)

These children attended the Coastal Division Media Day:

  • Payton Hollad (fan of Duke)
  • Carolina Mirman (fan of Miami)

The children had the opportunity to visit, observe, and tour the ACC Social and Digital Room, the Network Room, Radio Row, a Breakout/Work Room, as well as the chance to attend an ESPN Press Conference where players and coaches alike were interviweed. Additionally, the children met and took pictures with many of the players and coaches which left them exclaming that this was their, “BEST DAY EVER!”
