“What a wonderful blessing God has given
Michael through Dream On 3.”
Brandon and Elizabeth, Dream On 3’s Founders, plus their entire team are doing great things for God and it’s a testimony for them to continue to bless special needs children. They are great tools for God through their obedience to Him. Michael’s Dream Sponsor, James River Equipment, was such a blessing – with their support Michael’s dream came true!
Michael’s reveal party at Porter Ridge High School was perfect. That’s where Michael graduated from and was homecoming king twice in four years. The setting was excellent with a special halftime show with Porter Ridge and Sun Valley Bands playing the Monday Night Football theme song (which Al Michaels commentated for many years). These two schools are rivals and what a blessing for both to come together to acknowledge him in the exciting way they did. Special thanks to all the people who came out in support of Michael and the administrators who put this all together. Dream On 3 gifted Michael a great suit made specifically for him – very classy!
The next day we boarded a private plane with a personal pilot. This was a dream come true just in itself. Michael got to ride as the copilot with Lars who taught Michael about the plane as we traveled.
In Atlanta, we stayed at a five-star hotel, the AC Hotel in downtown. The staff took great care of us. Thanks to Max, our Limo driver, for getting us around safe all weekend.
We were very thankful to Al Michaels for carving out a 30-minute window for a one on one meeting with Michael. You should have seen Michael Wayne’s expression when Al Michaels walked around the corner at his hotel. What a wonderful person he is. He made this whole dream come true by donating some time on Saturday for someone who just loves him and inspires to be like him one day.
We had a top-notch meal at McCormick and Schmick’s. Evan Wagner took great care of us and had Michael a specially made chef’s coat with his name on it. What a great surprise!
One of Michaels favorite places we went to was the College Football Hall of Fame. We had a private tour guide and Michael was giving stats to Adam, our personal guide, that just blew his mind.
Then came Sunday afternoon when we went to the game at the outstanding new Mercedes Stadium. What a great stadium! Michael got to go on the field and meet Al Michaels again along with Chris Collinsworth and their wives. Then the sportscaster duo took Michael up to the broadcast booth and let him see and interact with the equipment they use during the Sunday Night Football broadcast. What a dream come true that was for him!
Brandon got Michael back on the field later in the game where something special and unscripted happened. A state trooper came over to Michael and asked if he was Michael Wayne O’Neill. When Michael said yes, the trooper said he would be right back. He went over and got several Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders to come take pictures with Michael! This Trooper was the father of one of Michael’s Teachers at Porter Ridge. The teacher had emailed his father about Michael a few days before. What an amazing connection! That’s God’s hand at work through Dream On 3… It makes me tear up just thinking about the wonderful experience.
Thanks again for all who were apart of this dream come true for Michael. It warms my heart thinking about what Dream On 3 is doing for so many. Keep up the great work! You are truly “Good and Faithful Servants”.
All my best,
